Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 527229) (to commence as soon as possible, on a 2-3 years fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in the field of Information Systems, Computer Science or related areas, and have demonstrated promise of a high level of ability in research in the field of Marketing.

The appointee will work on research projects on Digital Economy and Innovation, with a focus on GenAI-Empowered Livestreaming E-Commerce.  He/She will develop research programmes independently; write publications, grant proposals and reports; and supervise junior research staff and students.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
