    CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONTRACT:

    Labor contract under the Consolidated Text of the Workers' Statute Law (Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23) and the Collective agreement of the group of companies of the biomedical research foundations of the health institutions attached to the Madridhealth service- SERMAS (BOCM of December 22, 2020). Financed with European Union funds (PANCAID - 101096309) .

    DURATION: 1 year 

    WORK PLACE: Hospital Ramón y Cajal. Carretera de Colmenar KM 9,1. Madrid. Spain.

    WORKING TIME AND HOURS: full time (37.5h/wk). The working hours will be determined by the Project Manager, according to the needs of the Project.

    ECONOMIC REMUNERATION: 21.424,50 € gross per year.

    TRIAL PERIOD: 3 months

    REQUIREMENTS AND MERITS OF THE CANDIDATES:

    SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS:

    2. The deadline for submitting applications is 12 calendar days from the date of publication of this call.

    3. Content of the application: It will include the following information:

    • Name and two surnames (Spanish applicants) of the applicant, address, e-mail address and phone number.
    • Reference number of this call (available on the website) and the complete text of the position for which the applicant is applying.
    • Main qualification and year of completion.
    • Date of application and applicant's signature.

    4. The application must be attached to the application:

    • Standardized summary curriculum vitae (without supporting documents), indicating training and professional experience with a description of the functions performed

    If the applicant wishes, he/she may also attach a cover letter and/or motivation letter.

    The total size of the files may not exceed 2 MB.

    5. When the candidate expressly requests this in the heading of his or her application, both attendance at the selection process and the documentation that the candidate provides will be confidential - internal and external - for the fibiohrc and all the people involved in the selection process; without prejudice to the due proof of its existence and objectivity. This confidentiality will be void if the candidate is selected or if he or she exercises any action that exempts him or her.

    6. The presentation of the candidacy implies full and unconditional acceptance of the bases that regulate it and constitute a responsible declaration of the veracity of what is expressed therein.

    Selection process

    SELECTION COMMITTEE

    • Whoever determines the direction of the fibiohrc will occupy the presidency of the commission.
    • The Principal Investigator of the Project.
    • One member, at the proposal of the President of the Research Committee.

    Both the Head of the Technical Office and the Principal Investigator may delegate this function to a person related to the Foundation, in the first case, and to another person of the research team related to the Project, in the second case.



    SELECTION PROCESS. EVALUATION OF APPLICATIONS:

    1.All applications submitted shall be delivered by the person in charge of their registration to the Selection Committee, which shall admit those that have been received in due time and form; and, eventually, to exclude those that have not, leaving a record in the minutes of the cause of the exclusion. It shall then proceed to evaluate the applications, beginning with the requirements established as minimum, excluding those that do not meet them, recording the reason for exclusion in the minutes.

    2.Subsequently, the following shall be evaluated the training merits, professional experience and attributes of suitability to the position of the candidates, freely assessed by the Commission to the best of its knowledge and belief, shall then be evaluated until a proposal is made in favor of the candidate who is most suitable for the position offered.

    3.At any time during the process, the Committee may -whenever it deems necessary and for one, several or all the candidates- request documentary justification, additional data or any type of clarification on merits and circumstances set forth in the Curriculum Vitae, request references from the interested parties, request reports or assessments (non-binding) from bodies or experts in the subject matter of the contract, request from the interested parties the preparation and/or presentation of an action plan related to the position.

    4. The Commission shall draw up a brief record of the relevant elements of the process: admission and exclusion, actions carried out of those described in the previous section, candidate proposed for the coverage of the position and the merits of suitability for theposition appreciated in the selected candidate.

    RESOLUTION:

    1. The application shall be resolved with the Proposal for the Award of the position, within a maximum period of one month from the day following the end of the deadline for the submission of applications. The term, at the discretion of the Commission, may be extendedup to twice its initial term when required by any of the actions described in section VII-3.

    2. The Call, at the discretion of the Commission, may be:

    • Fully cancelled or modified in any of its terms, at any time during the process, if superveningcauses so require. In the event of modification, a new period of 7 days shall be granted to incorporate or rectify applications in accordance with the modification made in its terms and conditions.
    • Declared vacant when, in the opinion of the Commission, none of the candidates issufficiently qualified for the position.

    3. The decision will be notified personally to the selected candidate and only to him/her. For general knowledge, it will be made public on the notice boards located in the Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica of the Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal (floor -2 right), as well as by any other means that the Foundation deems appropriate.

    4. The decision of the Commission is final before the Commission itself. However, the interested parties may present allegations before the President of the Foundation when:

    • The Commission has failed to comply with or disregarded any of the requirements of the call that is decisive.
    • When the candidate has been excluded at a time prior to the merit assessment due to error or unfair cause.
    • When it is known and demonstrable that the selected candidate has made a false statement in any attribute that is decisive for his/her selection.

    The allegations to the President may be formulated within a maximum period of 7 days from the publication of the resolution. The President of the Foundation, having considered the allegations, will act as he/she deems necessary in order to investigate the facts, rectify, reverse the decision, validate the actions or even annul the process. The President's decision shall be final and unappealable.

    5. The Proposal of Award in favor of the selected candidate does not in itself cause rights or obligations for the interested party until such time as the corresponding employment contract is signed in accordance with labor legislation and the internal rules of the Foundation.
