Since 2020, it has been coordinator of a European university, the European Reform Universtiy Alliance (ERUA), in charge of education (Erasmus +) and research (H2020). ERUA brings together the University of Paris 8, the University of Constance, the University of Roskilde, the University of the Aegean and the New Bulgarian University. Drawing on the experimental approaches that are at the heart of each of the institutions brought together, ERUA promotes inclusive universities - and societies - that draw their strength from their diversity.
Description of the structure
Created on 1 January 2009, CRESPPA (Paris Centre for Sociological and Political Research), UMR 7217 of the CNRS, Université Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis and Université Paris Nanterre, brings together CSU (Cultures et Sociétés Urbaines), GTM (Genre, Travail, Mobilités) and LabTop (Laboratoire Théorie du politique). In addition to the desire for a collegial internal operation that includes all categories of staff as well as colleagues in training, the three teams share a strong interest in the study of different social forms of domination and mobilisation, as well as divisions and categorisations linked to social relations. The comparative perspective is strongly present in all our research programmes. Through the relativisation to which international comparison invites, it provides a more solid foundation for the explanatory models derived from field research.
