Offer Description
The goal is to establish combinatorial response typologies and discrimination mechanisms in cell signalling pathways, based on the modelling of the dynamics of these pathways.
Functions and tasks:
- Formulation of models, based on ordinary differential equations, to study the discrimination and combinatorial responses of cell signalling pathways (Notch signalling pathway in animals and Brassinosteroid hormone signalling pathway in plants). These models will be formulated based on the most recent literature and on the research of the hiring group and collaborating groups.
- Programming and numerical resolution of the dynamics of the models in the parameter space and under different conditions. Analytical resolution when possible.
- Analysis and discussion of the results.
- Writing of the results and, if possible, presentation of results at conferences and in seminars.
