for the position of assistant in the group of research and teching employees  – full-time

within an employment contract on a fixed-term

in the area of engineering and technical sciences

in the field of: Biomedical Engineering

with specialization in: Biomechanics

in Division of Technical Mechanics in the Institute of Applied Mechanics

Skills/Qualifications
  1. Master of Science Engineer degree;
  2. good report from University and well-earned reputation (average grades, activity in scientific reaserch groups, other activities, publications);
  3. knowledge in the area of technical science in particular good knowledge in the area of biomedical engineering with biomechanics;
  4. at least 2 years experience in teaching students;
  5. good preparation to conducting classes in the fields of: mechanics, biomechanics, patobiomechanics, calculation method;
  6. knowledge and experience in he field of biomechanical researches with the use of motion capture systems;
  7. knowledge of symbolic calculation system;
  8. skill to conducting researches using motion capture and computer symulation systems
  9. experience in preparing research paper and its result presentations  in conferences
  10. scientific achievements ie.publications as conference materials and articles in reviewed scientific journal (stored in the database WoS or Scopus);
  11. good command of Polish and English;
  12. good teamwork skills and creative thinking;
  13. availability at: University, Faculty, Institute, Division
  14. conducting classes in Polish

Additional Information

Eligibility criteria
  1. a cover letter addressed to the Rector of Poznan University of Technology by the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering;
  2. qualification sheet;
  3. resume;
  4. personal data form;
  5. copy of the diploma (master’s or Ph.D.);
  6. copies of the documents confirming completion of courses;
  7. statement of clear criminal record;
  8. copies of other documents confirming the candidate's qualifications.
Selection process

The results of the competition shall be announced no later than within four months from the closing date of the competition. In the event that none of the candidates receives a positive evaluation of the selection board or in the lack of candidates, the Dean will close the competition. The Dean may cancel the competition or close it without giving a reason.

The applications should be submitted by 20 June, 2024 to the Faculty Office, address: Piotrowo 3, 60-956 Poznań, room: 224. The employment start date - 1 October, 2024.
