NSC (https://www.spectrum.aber.ac.uk/ ) is a national research centre working in spectrum engineering, radar & electronic defence, telecommunication engineering, IoT and sensor systems. We carry out research at all technological readiness levels (TRLs) starting from low TRL blue-sky innovations to high TRL co-development with industrial partners.   

We would welcome applications for MSCA Post-doctoral fellowships in any of our key research areas. We are particularly interested in starting low TRL work in one of the following areas.  

• Joint communication and sensing (JCAS) especially in emerging telecommunication standards.  

• Calibration and validation schemes for radar and radio sensors.  

• Communication and sensing modules for High altitude platform station (HAP).  

• Innovative radio sensing platforms for remote sensing.  

• Radar based target classification for smart mobility and smart agriculture.  

• Electronic defence in emerging telecommunication standards.  

• Brain and bio-inspired architectures to manage and process data from massive number of heterogenous industrial sensors.
