Offer Description

Clément de Chaisemartin is looking for research assistants, for 12 months contracts, starting in June, July, or September 2024. The research assistants will extend Prof Chaisemartin’s Stata and R packages, and notably those for difference-in-differences analysis. The research assistants may also use those packages in some empirical applications. The research assistants will assist users of those packages who contact Prof Chaisemartin with questions.

Skills/Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or an equivalent degree. A solid training in econometrics and in methods forcausal inference is required. Some formal training in programming/Computer Sciences is a plus.

The applicant needs to have advanced programming skills in Stata and R. Having already programmed Stata and/or R packages is a plus.
