A postdoc responsible for the synthesis and characterization of MOF-nanocarbon composite materials, including both the in-situ synthesis of novel nanocarbon functionalized MOFs as well as the post synthetic modification of MOFs presenting established topologies

BSc and PhD in Chemistry or Materials Science or Chemical Engineering. Strong background in materials synthesis with emphasis on MOFs (and other porous materials), proficiency in structural characterization techniques as PXRD and in spectroscopic and imaging techniques (FT-IR, Raman spectroscopy, SEM, UV/Vis Spectroscopy). Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively independently and in a collaborative research environment. Track record of scientific productivity demonstrated by publications and presentations. Fluency in English (verbal and written).
