OFFER DESCRIPTION
Looking for an academic refugee for a social neuroscience position:
Currently, the Volkswagen Foundation provides the opportunity to embed refugee scholars in ongoing research projects. As my project is funded by the Volkswagen Foundation, we are currently looking for scientist/students with a refugee status and interest in social neuroscience to join the lab.
The Social Rodent Lab performs social neuroscience with rats. We are interested in understanding the neural basis of pro-social behaviour. We combine neuroeconomic analysis of choice behavior with neurobiological or pharmacological manipulations and the recording of ultrasonic vocalizations. Furthermore, the Social Rodent Lab specializes in recording the electrophysiological signals at the single unit and network level from behaving rodents. See also: http://www.socialrodents.net/join
