SEALEAU B.V. (http://sealeau.com/) is seeking for a highly motivated person with an expertise in the development of customized software tools for the simulation of brine treatment and energy recovery processes. This person should be a PhD holder and will work as Innovation Associate in the framework of the European project called BRINE-MINING (Project No 739507).

The company offers a 1-year contract with the possibility to extend for up to 3 years.

    Computer science: PhD or equivalent
  • REQUIRED LANGUAGES
    ENGLISH: Excellent

Skills/Qualifications

  1. PhD holder, simulation of energy systems by application (or development) of software tools will be seen favorably
  2. Knowledge of advanced tools for energy simulation that can also enable transient simulation of systems such as MATLAB, TRNSYS etc.
  3. Programming software tools such as FORTRAN, C++ etc.
  4. Basic knowledge of Computer Aided Design such as AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS or equivalent will be seen favorably
  5. BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field of expertise
  6. Knowledge of thermodynamics, understanding of mass and energy balances
  7. Excellent communication skills (reporting and presenting)
  8. Excellent team player

Specific Requirements

Responsibilities

  1. Development of a software tool for the simulation of our innovative brine-management technology
  2. Development of a software tool for the simulation of industrial-waste heat operations
  3. Lead the BRINE MINING project, ensure timely delivery of milestones and deliverables
  4. Prepare technical details related to this project and present the work to investors and new customers
  5. Bring and build expertise in the field of waste heat recovery simulation
