Applications are invited for a temporary, part- time post of a Research Assistant within UCD School of Music.

Applications are invited for the above post of part-time research assistant in the UCD School of Music. The successful candidate will work under the direction of Dr Jaime Jones (Principal Investigator) on the research project `Amplifying Resilience: Digital Sustainability in DIY Music Communities' (NU/UCD Seed Funding 2024).

The successful candidate will have a background in Ethnomusicology or Popular Music Studies, and will have experience with ethnographic fieldwork and with project management. As a research assistant you will work with the PI and other team members at Northeastern University, Boston. You will be a valued and critical member of the team. You will be a key contact point and connection between academics, interlocutors, and documentary filmmakers.

Research Assistant Salary Scale: Fixed Salary: €30,025 pro rata

Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
