Offer Description

Position available within the Department of Economics and Business Administration in Hungarian Language.

The full time job involves research activities in the following areas: Operations management, Production and services management, Digitalization, Innovation and sustainability, Supply chain management.

The position involves research activities (1300 hours/academic year) and administrative activities (400 hours/academic year).

Bachelor studies: Management sciences.

Master's degree: Management or Finance.

PHD degree in Management.

The scientific record has to be in accordance with the scientific field Management, author or co-author of scientific papers (articles/book chapters/books), indexed in recognized international databases  or published by prestigious publishers in the country or abroad.

 

Specific Requirements

Good internet and computer skills, including knowledge of research methodologies.

Good knowledge of MS Office.

Good knowledge of English.

Selection process

The selection process involves three examination steps:

Examination 1 - Evaluation of the candidate's file (33.33% from the final grade)

  • The file will contain the professional achievements of the candidate

Examination 2 - Written test (33.33% from the final grade)

  • The test involves the written development on a theme depending on the nature and structure of the position. The minimum duration of the written test is 30 minutes.
  • The evaluation committee determines the test's theme based on the main topics of the open position and the bibliography.
  • Main topics:
    1. The impact of digital technologies on human resources in manufacturing companies
    2. Barriers to digital transformation in manufacturing companies
    3. Production strategy and the strategy's contribution to the company's competitiveness

Examination 3 - Public lecture (33.33% from the final grade)

  • Candidates delivers a public lecture or research project of minimum 30 minutes on a relevant topic/theme chosen by the evaluation committee from the main topics of the open position.
  • The evaluation committee determines the topic of the public lecture based on the topic and bibliography of the open position and communicates it to the candidate/candidates 48 hours before the lecture by e-mail and by posting it on the faculty's website.
  • The evaluation mandatory contains a session of questions addressed by the evaluation committee and/ or the public.
  • Main topics:
    1. Typology of Industry 4.0 technologies
    2. Bidirectional relationships between Industry 4.0 technologies and the human factor
    3. Location of manufacturing companies - location decisions for manufacturing capabilities
