Offer Description
The postdoctoral fellow is expected to: (1) publish scientific papers; (2) participate in the routines of the lab, which includes discussions of papers, meetings, etc; (3) collaborate with the rest of the team. Additional responsibilities will include contributing to new research grants, help to stablish the required research networks to successfully develop the project objectives, identifying relevant scientific challenges, contributing to the team outreach activities to help with the dissemination of the project actions .

Specific Requirements
Item nº1
Work experience in population genetics research, specifically in the field of phylogeography and phylogenetic inference. It will be specially valued the experience in the study of traditional molecular markers and genomic data, and their handling and/or analysis with tools in R and bash. A CV (maximum length of 2 pages) should be sent specifying projects in which the candidate has participated and the specific personal contribution to each of them.

Experience in population genetics of natural populations (fieldwork, lab work, data analysis), in the context of adaptation and speciation) and experience in demographic inference based on coalescence theory.

Have at least fifteen peer-reviewed publications in internationally recognized journals related to the position.

Personal interview. The interview will be conducted in English and will be held for candidates who achieve a minimum of 60 points for the sum of merits.
