Project description: 

DATALOG seeks to validate a platform for the interoperability of spatio-temporal data under the privacy-by-design principle. DATALOG platform will connect the European Data Spaces to provide products that help to (a) develop urban public policies, (b) reduce the generation of greenhouse emissions, (c) reduce the costs related to consumption and mobility. The challenge that DATALOG solves is reducing the lack of data availability with advanced knowledge in data mining.. In addition, this project’s initial outcomes integrate the lessons learned for setting up a data trust for urban planning and energy management sectors.

The position is linked to the innovation subproject DATALOG: Data for planetary wellbeing.

Tasks to be performed:

Specifically, the position has the following objectives to work during this contract, within the Work Package “Business Development”:

• Develop a business model for the DATALOG project.
• Plan the first steps to develop products and services according to the business model.
• Working with the research team to define market needs for the development of the project.
• Identify opportunities for financing, grants or subsidies for the coming months of the project.

The duration of these tasks is estimated over a period of 9 months.

Dedication and working hours: Part time (20h/week)

Planned remuneration approx: 23.422,88 € gross per year
