Offer Description

Integrating multimodal datasets and modeling the evolution of gene families in parasites.

Thanks to numerous international collaborations, we have generated and will continue to generate host-parasite datasets. These include single-cell spatial data, as well as compilations of host and parasite data.

- Exploring methods for integrating single-cell and spatial transcriptomics

- Analyze a wide range of data sets

- participate in the testing and implementation of single-cell data visualization tools

- Model the diversity and microevolution of variant surface antigens (var, rif, stevor) from 16,000 clinical isolates in the field.

Activities: Biostatistics/bioinformatics background, with proven experience in Omics data analysis

- Good knowledge of R or Python

- Able to work independently

- Excellent communication skills in English

- Willingness to lead research projects

- Passion for scientific discovery
