Offer Description
The main objective of “FOOD4BRAIN, Study of dietary patterns based on metabotypes associated with brain health” is to investigate in depth the interactions between dietary patterns, metabolomic markers of the activity of the intestinal microbiota, and clinical and biochemical markers of cognitive impairment and brain health in
order to discover metabolic profiles or metabotypes with the ultimate goal of developing personalized dietary interventions aimed at maintaining brain health.
We are looking for a highly motivated person with interests in bioinformatics, statistics and multi-omics analysis, especially in the field of metabolomics and nutrition. The candidate must:
- Hold a PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics or Life Science
- Be specialized in Bioinformatics and Statistics
- Have proven experience in:
o Analytical bioinformatics pipeline development,
validation, and analysis
o Machine Learning, regression analysis, clustering
methods
o Statistical significance analysis
o Database management
- Desired but not required:
o Quality management process
