The Institute for Organic Synthesis and Photoreactivity in Bologna, Italy, opens a research grant position to involve graduates in Chemical Sciences.

Skills/Qualifications

Master's degree in Chemistry obtained according to the legislation in force prior to the Ministerial Decree. 509/99, or a Specialist/Master's Degree in Chemistry (Ministerial Decree 5 May 2004), with a professional curriculum suitable for carrying out research activities;
experience in the field of the topic referred to in the art. 1 declared in the manner set out in art. 4;
Knowledge of the English language;
Knowledge of the Italian language (only for foreign candidates).

Specific Requirements

Synthesis of building blocks for the creation of molecular systems of the Donor-Acceptor type; Synthesis of oligomers and conjugated polymers with the aid of enabling technologies; Morphological and optical characterization of conjugated compounds in solution and in thin films; Organization of Donor-Acceptor molecular systems in supramolecular architectures.

Researcher contract lasting 12 months for a gross amount of c.a. 19,300 euros, net wage of c.a.1,400 euros per month
