Offer Description

We need to hire a post‐doctoral level research member to work in the

project “Functional and structural brain connectivity changes after Digital

Rehabilitation in post‐COVID‐19 syndrome patients with cognitive

impairment” funded by the Programa Estatal para Impulsar la

InvestigaciónCientífico‐Técnica y su Transferencia, del Plan Estatal de

Investigación Científica, Técnica y deInnovación 2021‐2023 FEDER The

objective of this project is The objective of this proposal is the (i)

characterisation of structural and functional brain connectivity in PACS

patients with cognitive impairment using a multimodal magnetic resonance

imaging (MRI) approach, (ii) the association with cognitive phenotypes and

(iii) the study of brain connectivity changes after a therapeutic digital

intervention including cognitive stimulation, physical activity and

mindfulness meditation, (iv) as well as the study of baseline MRI markers in

cognitive prognosis. The position requirements include previous experience

in the field of MRI structural and functional brain connectivity analyses,

knowledge in neuroscience, biomedical engineering or applied mathematics

or physics. Advanced level in data modelling and programming knowledge

(e.g., using Matlab, Python or other languages). The contract will have a 10‐

month duration (part‐time) and the specific tasks will include MRI data

analyses, interpretation of results, manuscript drafting, and results

diffusion. Sporadic teaching collaborations in imaging and

neuropsychological subjects will be also required, as well as co‐supervision

of predoctoral students in the Neuroimaging Lab. The tasks will be

developed in collaboration with the PI and other members of the research

project

Previous experience in multisite data management (biological, cognitive,

neuroimaging).

The position requirements include previous experience in the field of MRI structural

and functional brain connectivity analyses, knowledge in neuroscience, biomedical

engineering or applied mathematics or physics. Advanced level in data modelling and

programming knowledge (e.g., using Matlab, Python or other languages).

Previous experience in undergraduate and master’s degree teaching
