Salary: Level A – $80,258 - $108,906 p.a.plus 17% super

About the Role

Join PRESCIENT, a groundbreaking research initiative focused on clinical trajectories and predictors in young people at ultra-high risk for psychosis. As a Digital Health Research Assistant at Orygen, you will play a key role in conducting digital assessments, collecting and monitoring data, and collaborating with a dynamic team of researchers and stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge mental health research and make a real impact on young people's well-being.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to digital data collection, data entry, data checking and analysis.
  • Assist in coordinating the digital health component for both local and international PRESCIENT sites.
  • Recruit research participants and youth advisors from a range of clinical programs and the community.

Who We Are Looking For

You have a proven track record of contributing effectively to independent and collaborative research. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to engage and collaborate successfully.

You will also have:

  • Undergraduate degree with Honours in behavioural or social sciences or a related discipline.
  • A strong interest in youth-onset mental health disorders and mental health interventions.
  • Strong evidence of ability and desire to build an academic or research career trajectory.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply quantitative/qualitative research methodologies.

This position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone.
