Offer Description

The project Thematic History of Music in Portugal and Brazil will solely take place in Portugal (Lisbon).

The research fellow will assist the research team in carrying out the tasks performed, carrying out the tasks performed during the term of the project, (1) with particular emphasis on the history of ideas and practices in musical pedagogy in Portugal and/or Brazil; (2) science dissemination activities

The research fellowship’s duration is 6 months, renewable for the same period.

The expected starting date is 1st December 2023.

Benefits

Monthly research fellowship corresponds to € 930,98€, according to the table of scholarships awarded directly by FCT, I.P. in Portugal (https://www.fct.pt/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Tabela-de-Valores-SMM_202…).

When chosen by the candidate, a first category voluntary social insurance may be added to this amount, together with a personal accident insurance.

Eligibility criteria

Selection process

The selection method will be the following: a) curriculum evaluation, on a grading scale from 0 to 10, with weighting of the academic background and the preferential requirements
