It is open competition for the award of 1 Research Grant (BI), at  the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, within  the scope of the Geosciences Center (CGEO), framed in the program contract established between CGEO and FCT, and in particular its base funding component (refª UIDB/00073/2020), financed by FCT / MCTES through national funds (PIDDAC),  under the following conditions:

Scientific Area: Prehistoric Archaeology

Admission requirements:

The candidate must be a master's student in prehistoric archaeology and rock art.  

Work plan:

The work plan of the scholarship holder will be related to the revision of the archaeological collections of the caves of the valley of the nabão valley excavated by teams of CGEO, namely the Caves of Cadaval, Bones, Nossa Senhora das Lapas and Morgado. The scholarship holder will develop work in the framework of the preparation of the respective monographs and in articulation with his master's thesis project. The works fit into the thematic line of study of the Neolithization of Alto Ribatejo, the cluster of Quaternary, Human Adaptations and Territory Management of CGEO.
