Requirements that candidates must meet

GENERAL

a) Be in possession of the Doctor's degree (PhD)

b) Not having been separated by means of a disciplinary file from the service of any of the public administrations, nor having been disqualified by a final judgment for the performance of public functions. In the case of being a national of another State, not being disqualified or in an equivalent situation or having been subjected to a disciplinary or equivalent sanction that prevents, in your State, in the same terms, access to public jobs .

SPECIFIC

a) Languages: a high level of English, written and spoken, is essential.

b) Computer skills: high level of Office package (including PowerPoint and Excel).

c) Experience:

I. PhD in Biology or related discipline.

II. Publications: At least 2 articles as first author in international peer-reviewed and indexed journals.

III. Training in Electrophysiology, Calcium Imaging, Pharmacology, Primary Neuronal Cultures, Molecular Biology Techniques, Western Blot Analysis and/or Immunocytofluorescence.

IV. Experience in ion channel research will be a definite plus.

d) Personality: We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and determined postdoctoral researcher, with planning and organizational skills and used to working in a team.

1. Academic Training: 0-20 points.

2. Professional experience/Suitability to the proposed profile: 0-60 points.

3. Other merits: 0-20 points.

The minimum score to pass the selection process is: 80 points.
