IGT SAS Call for excellent researchers R2, R3, R4

Applicants are expected to join existing research activities at the Institute of Geotechnics SAS in one of the following research topics:
mineral processing, materials engineering, environmental technology, nanomaterials and nanotechnology, applied chemistry, water science, biotechnologies, mechanochemistry. 

The applicants are expected to submit a short description of project objectives (max. 2 pages) and a professional CV.  Obligatory templates are available at https://ugt.saske.sk/en/news/. Applications should be sent before August 6, 2023 via email to jobs.igt@saske.sk with subject “Rx  – Surname Name” (x=category of researcher) to identify the application. Only complete submissions are considered. The applications will be considered and based on the submitted documents, the promising applicants will be selected and informed within August 11, 2023. After internal preselection the successful candidates will be guided to prepare the full proposal in the required form. The full proposal must be completed before September 14, 2023.

The stipend depends on the research profile and experience of the applicant. There are three categories:
● R2 = postdocs / recognised researcher (approx 2 280 € net monthly salary),
● R3 = independent / established researcher (approx 2 580 € net monthly salary),
● R4 = leading researcher (approx 2 877 € net monthly salary).
The stipend includes additional budget for research expenses (1300 eur per project month) and team personnel expenses (max 0/2000/4500 eur per project month for R2/R3/R4 researcher).

The selection will be assesed during the preselection process. The duration of the project is 12-24 months and it must end at latest on 30/06/2026.
