A candidate for the position should have:

• • Ph.D. degree in biological sciences;
  • Experience, documented by scientific publications, in molecular biology, microbiology and biochemistry techniques and methodology (including: work with RNA, RT-qPCR techniques, RNAseq; use of reporter genes; assessment of metabolic changes in the cell; conducting eukaryotic cell cultures, MTT, XTT assays; work on animal models; preparation and histopathological analysis of tissues and organs, assessment of antibiotic resistance mechanisms; fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, work with bacteriophages, experience in work with pathogenic bacteria)
  • experience in work with ionizing radiation, in particular with radioactive beta isotopes,
  • significant publication record, including articles in international journals in the field of molecular biology which are a result of work with more than one research center
  • experience in preparing research projects, documented by received and realized grants
  • documented participation in scientific conferences;
  • awards and stipends received in recognition of Candidate’s work will be of additional advantage,
  • experience in academic teaching in the field of molecular biology;
  • good communicative skills in Polish and English languages that enable preparation and conducting classes in Polish and English.
