Hosting a European MSCA-IF fellow at your institution in Korea - Guidelines

how_to_-_tutorial

What is the benefit for research institutions in Korea?

Universities, research institutes and other organisations in Korea are eligible to host a fully-funded fellow of the prestigious Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowships - Global Fellowship (MSCA-IF-GF) for a period of up to 24 months.

MSCA-IF-GF target experienced (post-PhD) researchers based in Europe (nationals or long-term residents of a Member State or Associated Country) wishing to spend 12 to 24 months in a Third country, such as Korea, followed by an additional compulsory return phase of 12 months in Europe. Any research performing institution in the world can be a host for recipients of Global Fellowships. At the proposal stage, a letter of intent must be produced, showing the capacity of your institution to host the researcher and to contribute to the needs of the project.

How to advertise your institution as a possible host?

Please read the instructions in the file below (tutorial produced by the EURAXESS ASEAN team) explaining how to register your organisation and your hosting offer. Since 2014, only one European researcher was hosted in Korea using this programme. Seize the opportunity to make their numbers grow!

The next call for proposals will open on 11 April with a deadline on 11 September 2019.
