Staff Week & Job Shadowing

Seize the opportunity of an individual job shadowing while meeting international colleagues and diving into the Austrian culture.

For your job shadowing you can choose one or two service units you would like to visit and learn more about. The list of these can be found below. In the registration form you will be asked to specify one or two service units for your stay.

Preliminary Program

• Welcome Lunch

• Getting to know TU Graz and the International House

• City tour & Slide Graz Schlossberg

• Individual job shadowing on Thursday and Friday morning

• Campus tour

• Visit to the Int' Food & Culture Fair

• Optional programme on Friday afternoon:
  A) Enjoy an excursion to the famous wine region in southern Styria including a visit to a pumpkin seed oil museum and dinner at a typical Styrian “Buschenschank” (details will be provided soon)
  B) Join activities of the city-wide university event “Lange Nacht der Forschung“ /“Long night of research”, Friday from 5 to 11 pm

Registration

• Registration open until March 29, 2024

• To register, please fill in the registration form

• Registration becomes final with the payment of the participation fee (see Participation Fee)

• Priority is given to participants from Unite! partners

Participation fee

• Participation fee: € 100

• Included: welcome lunch and closing lunch, guided city tour and Slide Graz Schlossberg

• TU Graz invites you to a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant on Wednesday evening (costs covered by TU Graz)

• Not included: travel expenses, accommodation, certain meals and cultural activity on Friday afternoon

• Please note that it is not possible to just pay for individual days or activities

• You will be provided with the payment details after the confirmation of your registration
