The Swedish Trans-Atlantic Researchers and Scholars (STARS) Network, which serves as Sweden's researcher diaspora network in the U.S., has released its 2022 Annual Report. Last year, STARS opened a board of directors, which helped achieve important developments:
- Updated and refined STARS’ mission, vision, and strategic plan
- Outlined an event plan for 2023
- Initiated conversations for new and improved partnerships with actors working in the same space as STARS to benefit our members’ professional development and engagement with other researchers.
EURAXESS North America is regularly present for the network's fikas on Zoom, with casual networking and conversation among members, who range from Swedes, Swedish-Americans, and all researchers with an interest in Sweden.
