Fundación Carolina provides scholarships and grants to Ibero-American researchers in many levels, in all research fields related to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. A total of 669 scholarships and grants are being offered in this call, which are broken down as follows:
- 251 postgraduate scholarships (Master's)
- 100 PhD scholarships and short postdoctoral stays
- 36 Mobility grants for teachers
- 176 scholarships for institutional studies
- 106 doctorate scholarship renewals
The objective is to contribute to a fair response to the current challenges of the “triple transition”, digital, ecological and social. This call includes new programmes that encourage academic and scientific innovation aimed at development and enhance the Ibero-American knowledge space. One of them is the faculty mobility programme in collaboration with the Higher Scientific Research Council (CSIC), which offers 20 scholarships: 10 to carry out research in CSIC research centers, and another 10 in research centers and universities in Latin America.

The call is open to students and researchers from the countries within the Ibero-American Community of Nations. The list of countries follows:

Deadlines: 14 March 2024 (for postgraduate and institutional scholarships) and 4 April 2024 (for all other modalities).
