Nerd Nite Tokyo #56: The Slides of March

Every month, we gather some smart speakers and a curious crowd, add a bar, and create something unique. We’re returning fresh from winter break and entering spring with two new speakers talking about current research!

First, Jan Pack will talk about cancer: how to treat it, how treatments are changing, and how his own research is part of that change. Next, May Kristine Jonson Carlon has been talking to large language models like ChatGPT: she will discuss what she’s learned about the cultural and moral differences between AI and humans, and where AI might be going in the future.

Drinks (both alcoholic and non) will be available. Drink, meet, and be square-y! Kids are also welcome at Nerd Nite.

You can also find our event information on Facebook and Meetup; check ourhomepage for all of our social media and mailing lists. Help us promote Nerd Nite by signing up on our event listings and sharing our social media posts!
