msca_itn

A doctoral student position is available in the frame of the EU HORIZON 2020 MSCA-ITN project RNAct in the Sattler lab (Munich).

Topic: Integrative structural biology and biophysics to analyze and design Recognition Motif (RRM) proteins for RNA binding

The RNAct network is highly interdisciplinary and combines molecular biology and recombinant protein expression with advanced techniques in structural biology focusing on solution NMR and crystallography. Some experimental experience in these techniques is very desirable. Candidates must be highly motivated and interested in interdisciplinary research and developing new ideas. Candidates must be fluent in English.

Further information: http://rnact.eu

We offer outstanding facilities for NMR (http://www.bnmrz.org) with various high-field NMR spectrometers (including 950, 900, 800 MHz, 1.2 GHz pending), crystallography, small angle scattering (in-house SAXS) and access to synchrotron beamtime, as well as a new state-of-the-art biochemical lab facilities.

Eligibility criteria:

Only candidates fulfilling the criteria listed in Specific Requirements will be considered in accordance with the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions regulations. Successful candidates will be ranked based on the provided documentation, and top-ranked candidates will be invited for interview(s).

Selection process:

Please forward your (1) CV, (2) motivation letter, (3) grade certificates, and (4) reference letters/contact details of referees by email to info@rnact.eu.
