Deadline: 1 October 2018
EUREKA is a publicly-funded, intergovernmental network, involving over 40 countries. EUREKA’s aim is to enhance European competitiveness by fostering innovation-driven entrepreneurship in Europe, between small and large industry, research institutes and universities. It is a leading open platform for international cooperation in innovation. It remains to this day the only initiative of its kind committed to the ‘bottom-up’ principle - ensuring that any R&D project with a good business plan receives the support it deserves, independent of its technological nature, or the type of organisations involved.
The GlobalStars initiative was adopted during the EUREKA network meeting in June 2016 – its aim is to facilitate international R&D&I cooperation between EUREKA countries, including associated countries, and non-EUREKA partner countries. GlobalStars shall be a flexible, reliable, lean and fast instrument allowing global cooperation for EUREKA countries in a variable geometry.
Within the GlobalStars initiative of EUREKA, a new call for projects with India is open for submissions.
The EUREKA participating countries in this call are:
- Belgium
- United Kingdom
- The Netherlands
- Spain
Within the Global Stars initiative of EUREKA, based on the mutual consent, India and The Netherlands, Belgium (Flanders region) Spain and United Kingdom are launching a common call in the field of ‘One Health’. Participants from India and respective EUREKA member states are invited to submit joint industrial R&D project proposals within the framework of the EUREKA network.
