European Higher Education Virtual Fair 2018

The objective of the European Higher Education Virtual Fair 2018 is to promote the EU as a destination for higher education and research for the Indian students and academic community by providing them with latest information and authentic advice directly from the EU HEIs and EUMS representatives and subject experts through the tools of the Virtual Fair. Furthermore, it provides an online platform to connect EU HEIs and EUMS with Indian high school and college students and academic community to offer higher education opportunities to them in the EU. It builds bridges for longer term institutional linkages (Erasmus +) and to support and complement the efforts of EU MS and HEIs in promoting internationalisation of higher education in the EU.

The Virtual Fair will comprise of two main elements:

• A series of webinar sessions in which participating EU HEIs will get an opportunity to make presentations about their institutional offerings directly to Indian students and engage them

• A website on which all participating EU HEIs will get their own pages which will be updated regularly (www.study-Europe.net )

Target Audience:

Indian college students who have recently graduated or graduating next year and are looking to go abroad for higher education. Also, Indian high school students looking to go abroad for higher education as well as Indian Post-Graduates looking for research opportunities in the EU.

Time Lines:

• October 25- 28: Virtual Fair – series of webinars over 4 days; EURAXESS India is participating on 25 October @ 17.30-18.00 IST
