欧洲大学学院 – Fernand Braudel高级奖学金 European University institute (EUI) - Fernand Braudel Senior Fellowships. Fellowships last for up to ten months in one of the EUI's four Departments which in turn invite fellows to participate in departmental activities (seminars, workshops, colloquia, etc.). Fellows are encouraged to make contact with researchers sharing their academic interests, may be involved in the teaching and thesis supervision tasks of EUI professors, and associated with one of the research projects being carried out at the EUI. There are two annual deadlines for applications, depending on the department: - 30 March 2018 (Law, Economics) - 30 September 2018 (Economics, History and Civilisation, Political & Social sciences)

The F.R.S.-FNRS finances several hundred postdoctoral researchers within the university laboratories of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. The postdoctoral researchers, young researchers who have recently obtained their PhD are active in research. They play an essential role in the exchanges with the foreign laboratories within the context of European and international collaborations. Deadline: rolling basis
芬兰－CIMO博士奖学金FINLAND - CIMO Doctoral Fellowships -The CIMO Fellowships programme is open to young Doctoral level students and researchers from all countries and from all academic fields who wish to pursue their Doctorate (or Double Doctorate) at a Finnish university. Target group: All international students but emphasis is given to applicants from Russia, China, India, Chile, Brazil and North America. Deadline: No application deadline.

China's Innovation Patents Surge in Number and Quality in 2017. China's innovation patent filings surged both in number and quality in 2017, a spokesman said recently. New patent filings numbered 1.38 million last year, up 14.2 percent.
