GREECE: MSCA IF at the GeoSat Research Lab

The GeoSat Research Lab, Institute for Mediterranean Studies, Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas, located in Rethymno, Crete, Greece, is looking for a passionate postdoc to apply for EU Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships programme, within the following thematic areas:

  • Satellite Remote Sensing
  • Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
  • UAV/Drone
  • Geomorphology / Physical Geography
  • Archaeology
  • Landscape ecology

All these technologies and scientific approaches can be applied individually or simultaneously for both environmental surveillance and archaeological prospection.

The Geosat Lab has been the first in the area of Eastern Mediterranean offering an integrated and specialised suite of tools dealing with the remote sensing (satellite, UAV, aerial, SAR, ground based) prospection and GIS management of environmental resources and cultural heritage monuments.
