EURAXESS China participated in the final workshop of the EU funded initiative Improving EU Access to National and Regional Financial Incentives for Innovation in China that took place in the Galielo Room of the Delegation of the European Union to China 14 January 2020.
The final workshop introduced in detail the last 3 studies produced by the initiative:

- EU-China Co-Funding Mechanism
During the workshop Halldor Berg, EURAXESS China Country Representative, introduced the work being done to form a working group of representatives from European Scientific Diaspora Networks. The presentation can be downloaded below:
The event ended with a New Year's Reception where the community of European researchers, innovators and innovative organisations in Beijing were invited to enjoy some opportunity to network over a glass of wine.

As part of a monitoring of the effective implementation of the EU-China Joint Roadmap on Ensuring Reciprocal Access to Respective Research and Innovation Funding, in August 2018 the European Commission launched the project “Improving EU Access to National and Regional Financial Incentives for Innovation in China”. The project runs the funding and studies database http://chinainnovationfunding.eu/.
