Mission to Wellington 2022

As part of the Roadshow in New Zealand, put together in consultation with the Delegation of the EU to New Zealand, the first stop would be the mission to Wellington.

15 August

• Session on Understanding Horizon Europe at Victoria University of Wellington: EURAXESS Australia and New Zealand will deliver an information session on Understanding Horizon Europe to PhD students, Early & Mid-Career Researchers and Senior researchers, from all research disciplines at Victoria University of Wellington. The information session will focus primarily on Pillar I: Excellent Science [European Research Council (ERC) Grants & Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)]; and Pillar II - Global Challenges [Clusters, Finding & Understanding a Call, Funding lines, TRL, Evaluation Criteria & Funding Rates].

• Meeting with the Delegation of the EU to New Zealand team. 

• Meeting with Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) International Team

• Meeting with 8 EU Member States’ Deputy Head of Mission/ Research Counsellors

• Meeting with Universities New Zealand

• Meeting with Royal Society Te Apārangi & ECR Forum
