sea_eu_net

The SEA-EU-NET 2 project, which is funded by the European Commission (EC), aims to set up and to expand scientific collaboration between Europe and Southeast Asia (SEA) in a more strategic and coherent manner. The four-year long project was launched in October 2012 and involves 21 institutions from the two regions. The project is coordinated by the Project Management Agency at the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

On 1 April, 2017, the SEA-EU-NET launched a Joint Funding Scheme (JFS) to support collaborative research in the areas of anti-microbial resistance, emerging infectious diseases, climate change adaptation, and biodoversity. Eligible for funding are joint R&D projects designed to lead to innovative products, services or processes of significant economic and/or societal value. Fifteen funding agencies from thirteen Europe and Southeast Asian countries are co-funding this call.

Deadline for proposal submission is 30 June 2017.

The call text is attached.
