Description
We invite all postdoctoral candidates to be a part of our research team. We are working on highly interdisciplinary research projects at the intersection of computer engineering and medicine. Our goal is to design and implement deep learning-based approaches for segmentation, characterization, and understanding of medical images (https://mysite.ku.edu.tr/cgunduz).
We carry out various projects together with different disciplines in our medical school, including the Departments of Pathology, Ophthalmology, and Radiology. We can position qualified candidates to contribute to one or more of these projects by writing research proposals according to their interests. The qualified candidates will also be part of the KUIS Artificial Intelligence Center, one of the leading institutes in Turkey focusing on artificial intelligence research (https://ai.ku.edu.tr).
