Description
We are inviting candidates, who want to work in the field of bioinformatics, to our research center, KUISCID, which specializes in microbiology and infectious diseases with the newest technologies.
In KUISCID, projects on antimicrobial action mechanisms, resistance, molecular epidemiology, and pathogenesis are carried out in the fields of bacteriology, mycology, virology, and immunology. In these projects, the center, which mainly includes microbiology, infectious diseases, and public health as core parts, carries out multidisciplinary studies together with many other departments in both clinical and basic sciences.
We are looking for colleagues who can make in-depth analyzes of genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics data sets produced at the center using omics technologies and associate them with clinical outcomes.
Candidates should have:
- Ph.D. (MS) in computational sciences, computer sciences/engineering, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a closely related field,
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, Databases (SQL),
- Good oral and written communication skills,
- Be compatible with teamwork,
- Preferably experience in analysis of genomic data sets
