MSCA POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP

Lodz University of Technology (TUL) is looking for the candidates to apply for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 grant.

Opening: 10 April 2024

Deadline: 11 September 2024



If you are a PhD Researcher

  • interested in undertaking R&I mobility, under MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship, to Lodz University of Technology (TUL), located in 1 of the biggest cities-Lodz, situated in the heart of Poland, ranked 5 among technical universities and 9 among public universities in Poland, ranked among 32 Polish universities in the International Times Higher Education World University Ranking, among 19 Polish universities in the QS World University Ranking and among 37 included in the US News Best Global Universities Ranking; a member of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU),
  • focused on development of research and transferable skills & competencies that will result in the improved career opportunities,
  • willing to face novel approach to R&I work strictly interlinked with the international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary experience,
  • open to enhanced networking and communication capacities with scientific peers, and public thus broadening the horizons of R&I impact.

WHAT you can expect from us:

  1. support and guidance during the whole process of application including eligibility check of the candidate, preparation (Part A proposal check, Parts B proposal review) and submission of the proposal, secondment (guiding, advising, mentoring) & post-secondment activities (career development), if needed.
  2. assistance in finding a proper supervisor (if needed). Please, indicate the DISCIPLINE you would like to apply in.
  3. direct contact with the host institution/supervisor/PoC in case of research/administrative issues such as endorsement letter, formal documentation etc.
  4. submission of the call documents obligatory to familiarize with in the process of application including but not limited to: application forms, HE WP - MSCA Work Programme, Guide for Applicants, HE Programme Guide, MSCA PF Handbook.
  5. internal webinars, meetings, consultations, trainings, solving problems and answering questions raised, panels on the exchange of best practices and success stories, participation in academic research events, and many more.
  6. taking advantage of many opportunities resulting from the partnership with ECIU in various sectors such as: exchange of expertise, scientific relations, university staff mobility, if needed.



    EXTRA BENEFIT

    ERA Fellowships call for researchers applying with the host institution located in Poland (a Widening Country).

    Should you fail to get funding under MSCA PF but receive a positive review opinion with the threshold indicated in the MSCA programme, your application could be automatically redirected to ERA Fellowships call
