Description

Horizon Europe MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF) is for researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral mobility. EuroTeQ project WP5 team invites potential postdoctoral researchers with the aim to apply for MSCA PF and who envisage the one of the EuroTeQ project partners as their host institution to submit their Expressions of Interest (EoI). If you are interested in this opportunity, please take a closer look and follow the guidelines below.

Potential candidates will be selected by the EuroTeQ WP5 team.

The potential topics should follow the research framework of the project <link to the D5.2>

The project EuroTeQ allows tracing the development of students' dispositions and skills over time during the participation in activities of the EuroTeQ Project. Therefore, the relevant research is how these dispositions and skills develop depending on the kind of activities that the students participate in and their individual entry requirements, in terms of dispositions and skills. Proposed research topics could pay attention to the overall perspective of how to encourage, improve and assess learning within today’s society, that include a perspective on the different accessible tools e.g analyses of learning outcome, analyses of impact of different didactics (e.g. e-learning, peer-to-peer-learning, classic teaching, master teaching etc.), learning impact and learning statistics. Also, considering the population of today, which based on various research results is different from 10,20,30 years ago.

The experienced research support staff will advise and coach the selected candidates in the application process.

Deadline for submission of your EoI: 23 May, 2021.

ABOUT THE PROJECT and PARTNER INSTITUTIONS

The aim of the three-year project is to implement the visions of the "European Universities Initiative" and the "European Education Area" in the ecosystem of leading technical universities with the financial support of the European Commission, Erasmus + program A.1 - European Higher Education.

The project coordinator is the Technical University of Munich TUM (DE) and the partners are the Technical University of Denmark DTU (DK), the Technical University of Eindhoven TU/e (NL), Ecole Polytechnique l'X (FR), Czech Technical University in Prague CTU (CZ) and Tallinn University of Technology TalTech (EST), also the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, which are involved in the project without financial participation.

EuroTeQ focuses on the main vision of the European Universities Initiative and in the long-term will create a leading European platform for technical education and joint educational programmes so that graduates are able to respond to the changing needs of society. By sharing expertise and integrating into the European framework of study programmes, member universities will increase the overall quality of technical education. EuroTeQ also wants to connect the university environment and industry in the European Union in order to build a strong European foundation of science and technology that will be able to compete in an ever-growing global market. 45 industrial partners are involved in the EuroTeQ project, four of which are Czech: prg.ai, GasNet , Pražská energetika (PRE), Workswell. Cooperation with representatives of the Student Union and the CTU students is also envisioned. In the project students participate in EuroTeQaThon competitions for groups of students rated by expert panels. Project activities include the creation of a "Joint Course Catalogue" of partner organizations, "Micro-credentials" consisting of training courses/modules and a "Learning lab" for sharing teachers' practices reflecting new challenges.

EuroTeQ is driven by a paradigm shift towards providing excellent education to our future engineers. Activities of EuroTeQ are based on a long-term strategy of cooperation at a new level. Innovative concepts of education are supported using digital services, integration of research into teaching, team-oriented work, and reflection on current societal challenges.

Location: Estonia, in cooperation with EuroTeQ partner countries Germany, Denmark, Holland, France,

MSCA PF ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Individual researchers submit proposals for funding in liaison with their planned host organisation. Proposals are judged on their research quality, the researcher's future career prospects, and the support offered by the host organisation. All domains of research and technological development are eligible for funding.
