Description
MSCA POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP (MSCA PF)
Agnieszka Ruppert, a professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, the director of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School, collaborating with France, Czechia and Japan, is looking for MSCA candidates with background in heterogeneous catalysis. Additionally, they should be experienced in material chemistry, biomass, and plastic valorisation or photocatalysis as well as experimental techniques such as: GC or HPLC chromatography, UV-VIS spectroscopy, nanomaterial synthesis or characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction, temperature programmed techniques. Candidates should have significant number of publications and ability to work independently as well as within a research group. Candidates should have strong command of English in speaking and writing.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Professor Agnieszka Ruppert focuses on the development of new heterogeneous catalysts and nanomaterials used in environmental protection processes. She is interested in the new methods of catalysts synthesis as well as new processes related with the biomass or plastic waste valorisation. In her research, she uses many modern research techniques enabling both the characterization of nanomaterials (by bulk and surface techniques) including different spectroscopy, microscopy, and spectrometry. She also works on different reactions at high pressure in various atmosphere in flow and batch reactors.
