Outline
The Helmholtz Distinguished Professorship for Women Scientists funded by the Helmholtz Association funds internationally recognized female scientists recruited to work at a Helmholtz Center in Germany. Candidates must be leading experts in their respective fields. All applicants must be an established researcher at a research institute abroad. If applicants have German nationality, they must have been employed abroad for at least the last three years.
This funding provides 600,000 Euros per year for the duration of employment at the respective Helmholtz Center. The Helmholtz Center and partner University should provide additional financial resources of substantial amount.
The deadline for applications is June 14, 2022.
