About your work with us
You will join the Department of Medicine, where you will participate in a European-funded research project in forensic psychiatry under Dr Esperanza L. Gómez-Durán and Dr Carlos García Forero. You will be trained in the BEDIT (Berlin Dissexuality Therapy Program) psychotherapeutic intervention model and conduct fieldwork with Minor Attracted Persons (MAP). You will participate in efficacy and effectiveness outcomes of this type of intervention. The team you will join has expertise in both forensic psychiatry and measurement and epidemiology of health outcomes.
Although you will not be teaching, the research task will be carried out within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, which offers Bachelor's and Master's degrees, in an environment of teaching and highly motivated research professionals. This context will be an indirect enrichment of your professional development and a future opportunity for you to be involved in teaching.
What will you do?
- Psychotherapeutic intervention with MAP.
- Participation in research activities as a member of the team.
- Coordination of project management activities.

Additional Information
- Full-time contract until 31/12/2024.
- Salary: 34.100€/yeatr.

Selection process
A selection committee of three members of the research staff will be in charge of evaluating the candidates
according to their merits and deciding which candidates will pass to the second stage of the selection
process, consisting of a selection interview.

- Adequacy of degree and professional experience.
- English Level Certification C1 or equivalent.
- Recommendation letters from former employers/teachers or lecturers
