Offer Description
IMS Robotics at the University of Tartu is seeking a research fellow whose primary responsibilities include performing cutting-edge research in Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) in collaboration with students and faculty. The research will focus on varied aspects of applied HRI from high-autonomy to shared control and teleoperation.

We are seeking a Postdoctoral researcher in the field of human-robot collaboration to conduct cutting edge research, supervise PhD students, and give lectures at a university level.

Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent C++ skills. Experience in parallel programming with GPUs/CPUs would carry additional points.
- Development experience with ROS2 and ROS.
- Experience in applying machine learning and artificial intelligence in technological systems.
- Experience in machine vision and its integration in applied robotics.
- Experience in giving lectures at university.
Duties and responsibilities
To conduct research in the field of robotics and human-robot collaboration, to prepare and implement research projects under the supervision of senior staff; to supervise graduate and doctoral students; teaching up to one course per semester (2 hours per week) in the area of specialization. Participation in the work of decision-making bodies of the university is encouraged.
