1 (ONE) BOLSA DE INVESTIGAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA (BI) / 1 (ONE) SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (SRF)

ANÚNCIO PARA A ATRIBUIÇÃO DE BOLSA DE INVESTIGAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA

Encontra-se aberto concurso para a atribuição de 1 (uma) Bolsa de investigação científica (BI) no âmbito do projeto “SIT–Softening in Tool- Development of solutions for local modification of material properties in sheet forming tools”, nas seguintes condições:

1. Área Científica: Engenharia Mecânica.

2. Requisitos de admissão: Os(As) candidatos(as) à Bolsa de Investigação Científica (BI) deverão preferencialmente satisfazer os seguintes requisitos:

• Licenciatura em Engenharia Mecânica, Engenharia de Materiais ou Engenharia Biomédica;
• Conhecimentos na área de simulação numérica de comportamento não-linear de materiais,
• Comprovativo de inscrição em curso conferente ou não-conferente de grau académico, integrado em projeto educativo, preferencialmente mestrado nas áreas de conhecimento indicadas.

(1) Os documentos comprovativos da titularidade de graus académicos e diplomas, ou do respetivo reconhecimento quando tenham sido atribuídos por instituições de ensino superior estrangeiras, podem ser dispensados em fase de candidatura, sendo substituídos por declaração de honra do candidato, ocorrendo a verificação dessa condição apenas em fase de contratualização da bolsa. Esta declaração deverá atestar factos ocorridos em data anterior à candidatura. Nas situações de divergência entre a informação constante da declaração e a documentação entregue para efeitos de contratualização de bolsa, apenas será considerada a informação constante nesta última. Caso se verifique que os documentos comprovativos da titularidade do grau académico e diploma, ou do respetivo reconhecimento nos termos do Decreto-Lei n.º 66/2018, de 16 de agosto, não correspondam às classificações atribuídas na avaliação do percurso académico e possam, consequentemente, alterar a seriação do candidato, não será efetivada a contratualização da bolsa.

3. Plano de trabalhos: Realização de tarefas de estudo do comportamento de materiais, em particular associados a alterações metalúrgicas em ligas de alumínio e aços de alta resistência. Estudo, caracterização e organização bibliográfica de fenómenos de comportamento de mecânica dos sólidos não-linear. Desenvolvimento de demonstrados experimental relevante para os fenómenos em estudo. Realização de literatura de suporte a tarefas de disseminação de resultados científicos. Os objetivos científicos incluem a escrita de relatórios para efeitos de disseminação de resultados.

4. Legislação e regulamentação aplicável: Lei n.º 40/2004, de 18 de Agosto (Estatuto do Bolseiro de Investigação Científica), alterada e republicada pelo Decreto-Lei n.º 202/2012 de 27 de agosto, com as atualizações introduzidas pelo Decreto-Lei n.º 233/2012 de 29 de outubro, Lei n.º 12/2013 de 29 de janeiro, Decreto-lei n.º 89/2013 de 9 de julho e Decreto-Lei n.º 123/2019, de 28 de agosto; Regulamento de Bolsas de Investigação da FCT, I. P., aprovado pelo Regulamento n.º 234/2012 de 25 de junho de 2012, alterado e republicado pelo Regulamento n.º 326/2013 de 27 de julho de 2013 e alterado pelo Regulamento n.º 339/2015 de 17 de junho de 2015, pelo Regulamento n.º 137-A/2018 de 27 de fevereiro de 2018 e Regulamento n.º 950/2019, de 16 de dezembro.

5. Local de trabalho: O trabalho será desenvolvido no Departamento de Engenharia Mecânica da Universidade do Minho, sob a orientação científica do Professor Doutor Nuno Ricardo Maia Peixinho.

6. Duração da bolsa: A bolsa terá a duração de 6 (seis) meses, com início previsto em março de 2023, em regime de exclusividade, conforme regulamento de formação avançada de Recursos Humanos da Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT).

7. Valor do subsídio de manutenção mensal: O montante mensal da bolsa corresponde a 875,98€ conforme tabela de valores das bolsas atribuídas diretamente pela FCT, I.P. no País (https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores).

Outros benefícios: Seguro Social Voluntário, correspondente ao 1º Escalão da base contributiva (para bolsas com duração igual ou superior a 6 meses) e Seguro de Acidentes de Trabalho.

8. Métodos de seleção: Os métodos de seleção a utilizar serão os seguintes: avaliação curricular, de acordo com a ponderação de critérios: formação académica (20%), perfil curricular (40%) e experiência em investigação científica na área de conhecimentos específicos requerida (40%).

9. Composição do Júri de Seleção: Presidente: Professor Nuno Ricardo Maia Peixinho; Vogais efetivos: Professor João Pedro Mendonça Assunção Silva; Drª. Paula Dias; Vogal suplente: Doutor José Filipe Bizarro de Meireles.

10. Forma de publicitação/notificação dos resultados: Os resultados finais da avaliação serão publicitados através de ata de seriação, anexa à notificação enviada aos candidatos via e-mail.

11. Prazo de candidatura e forma de apresentação das candidaturas: O concurso encontra-se aberto no período de 13 a 26 de janeiro de 2023.

As candidaturas devem ser formalizadas, obrigatoriamente, através do envio dos seguintes documentos: Curriculum Vitae, certificado de habilitações e outros documentos comprovativos considerados relevantes.

O investigador responsável pelo projeto reserva-se ao direito de não atribuir a Bolsa de Investigação Científica em concurso em função do resultado de avaliação das candidaturas e da sua adequação aos objetivos do projeto.

 CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR A SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

It is now open a call for applications for a Scientific Research Fellowship in the framework of the project “SIT–Softening in Tool- Development of solutions for local modification of material properties in sheet forming tools”, under the following conditions:

1.Scientific field: Mechanical Engineering.

2. Admission Requirements: The candidates to the scientific research fellowship should preferably fulfil the following requirements:

• Degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or Biomedical Engineering;
• Knowledge in the area of numerical simulation of non-linear behavior of materials;
• Proof of enrolment in a course offering or non-awarding an academic degree, as part of an educational project, preferably a master's degree in the indicated areas of knowledge.

(1) Documents proving the ownership of academic degrees and diplomas, or their respective recognition when they have been awarded by foreign higher education institutions, may be waived at the application stage, being replaced by a declaration of honor by the candidate, with verification of such condition only in the stage of contracting the fellowship. This statement must attest facts that occurred on a date prior to the application. In situations of divergence between the information contained in the declaration and the documentation submitted for the purpose of contracting a grant, only the information contained in the latter will be considered. If it is verified that the documents proving the ownership of the academic degree and diploma, or the respective recognition under the terms of Decree-Law No. 66/2018, of August 16, do not correspond to the classifications awarded in the evaluation of the academic path and may, consequently, changing the candidate's ranking, the fellowship contracting will not be effected.

3. Work Plan: Carrying out tasks to study the behavior of materials, in particular associated with metallurgical changes in aluminum alloys and high-strength steels. Study, characterization and bibliographical organization of behavior phenomena in nonlinear solid mechanics. Development of experimental evidence relevant to the phenomena under study. Realization of literature to support the tasks of dissemination of scientific results. Scientific objectives include writing reports for the purpose of disseminating results.

4. Applicable legislation and regulation: Law No. 40/2004, of 18 August (Statute of Scientific Research Fellows), amended and republished by Decree-Law No. 202/2012 of 27 August, with the updates introduced by Decree-Law No. 233/2012 of October 29, Law No. 12/2013 of January 29, Decree-Law No. 89/2013 of July 9 and Decree-Law No. 123/2019, of August 28; Regulation of Research Grants of FCT, IP, approved by Regulation No. 234/2012 of June 25, 2012, amended and republished by Regulation No. 326/2013 of July 27, 2013 and amended by Regulation No. 339/2015 of 17th of June 2015, by Regulation No. 137-A/2018 of February 27, 2018 and Regulation No. 950/2019, of December 16, 2019.

5. Workplace and Scientific Orientation: The activities will be developed at the Mechanical Engineering Department, University of Minho, under the scientific supervision of Professor Nuno Ricardo Maia Peixinho.

6. Duration of the Fellowship: The fellowship will last for 6 (six) months, starting in March 2023, on an exclusive basis, according to the regulation of advanced training in Human Resources of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).

7. Value of the Monthly Maintenance Subsidy: The fellowship amount corresponds to 875,98€, according to the table of scholarship values of the FCT, I.P. in the Country (Annex I – Table of Monthly Maintenance Subsidy of the Regulation for Research Fellowships of the FCT I.P. (https://www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores).

Other benefits: Voluntary Social Insurance (SCHE) reimbursement, corresponding to the 1st Echelon of the contributory base (for grants lasting 6 months or more) and Worker's Compensation Insurance.

8. Evaluation and selection criteria and procedures: The selection methodology will follow the following criteria: curriculum assessment, according to the weighting of criteria: academic training (20%), curriculum profile (40%) and experience in scientific research in the area of specific knowledge required (40%).

10. Form of advertising/notification of results: The final results of the evaluation will be publicized through the ranking and selection minutes, attached to the notification sent to candidates via e-mail.

11. Application deadline and form of submission of applications: The call for applications is open from January, 13th to 26th of 2022.

The researcher responsible for the project reserves the right not to award the Scientific Research Fellowship in competition depending on the result of the evaluation of the applications and its suitability for the project's objectives.
