Offer Description
In compliance with the regulations currently in force, the University of Milan, the Fondazione “Scuola Superiore Europea di Medicina Molecolare” (SEMM), the University of Naples “Federico II”, the University of Bari, the University of Turin, the University of Trento, the University “Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” and “Hunimed” of Milan have instituted for the academic year 2022/2023 (38th cicle), subject to confirmation of their accreditation by MUR, a research doctorate of a highly innovative nature, called “PhD (Philosophiae Doctor) in Systems Medicine”, with the University of Milan as administrative site. A public competition has been set up for 2 places.
Requirements
In order to apply for a place in the doctoral research programme, students must have a second cycle degree, an equivalent qualification, or an equivalent qualification by study level (Master’s Degree) from a foreign University, in the degree class LM-41 - Medicine, and must be enrolled in a Postgraduate school (Medicine area).
Admission to the doctoral programme is through a public selection procedure involving the evaluation of qualifications of candidates and an oral examination. The interview is conducted in English.

Admission to the doctoral programme is through a public selection procedure involving the evaluation of qualifications of candidates and a telematic oral examination based on the discussion of the applicant’s proposed research project, which does not represent any obligation in the choice of the future PhD thesis.
