Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree) for a 20-hour/week, four-year position at the Institute of Chemical Technology of Inorganic Materials

Job Duties:
- The focus of the research is on the combinatorial development of new materials for applications in the field of medical engineering; in cooperation with other team members, in addition to the combinatorial production and physical characterisation of suitable materials libraries, a detailed electrochemical investigation by means of scanning electrochemical droplet cell microscopy is to be carried out.
- Co-supervise Master’s and Bachelor’s thesis
- Opportunity to complete a dissertation is given and desired
Your Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in chemistry
- Relevant practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of electrochemistry
- Profound knowledge of electronical impedance spectroscopy is mandatory
- Further theoretical and practical knowledge in suitable methods for material characterisation are desirable
- Strong command of German and English both spoken and written (German level C2, English level C1)
- Motivated and reliable personality

- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,058.60 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
