Offer Description
The ‘Nanoarchitectonics at surfaces’ group focuses on the design of nanomaterial on surfaces based on supramolecular or covalent interactions, and the inspection of their structural, electronic, magnetic, sensing and catalytic properties by state-of-the-art scanning probe microscopies and photoelectron spectroscopies.
The candidate will develop a PhD thesis targeting the design of metal-organic nanoarchitectures on sp2 materials and graphene devices by on-surface chemistry in ultra-high vacuum and the inspection of the inherent physico-chemical properties by scanning probe microscopies and photo-electron spectroscopies.
The duration of the contract will be 3 years.
