Offer Description
The project SINGINGWOMB will solely take place in Portugal (Lisbon).
The initiation student will assist the research team in carrying out the tasks performed during the term of the project, with particular emphasis in the collection of musical repertoire and participation in prenatal singing sessions.
The duration of the studentship for scientific initiation is 5 months and is non-renewable. The expected starting date is 1st May 2023.

Enrollment in a Music degree (Licentiate) or equivalent.
Preferential requirements: experience in musical intervention projects in the community or music therapy with special emphasis on early childhood or motherhood.
Experience in singing, vocal improvisation and composing and harmonizing songs.
Additional Information
The research fellowship corresponds to € 541,12 monthly, according to the table of scholarships awarded directly by the FCT, I.P. in Portugal. Added to this amount is the voluntary social insurance corresponding to the first category, if the candidate so chooses, as well as a personal accident insurance.
The selection methods will be the following: a) curriculum evaluation, on a grading scale from 0 to 10, with weighting of the academic background (0-5 points) and the preferential requirements (0-5 points); b) optional interview, carried out by decision of the jury. In the event of an interview, the weighting of each of the selection methods, a) and b), will be 50%.
The approved candidates will be notified by e-mail in due course. The candidates will be notified of the date and place of the interview by the same means.
